Description
Lawman has been proudly working on two projects in the Village of Sackets Harbor, which will provide resources for locals and tourists while adding new era touches to the historic charm.
The first project consists of constructing and installing a sheet pile wall at Market Square Park and Chapin Alley in the Village of Sackets Harbor. The project entails installation of new floating boat docks (with utilities), an ADA-accessible kayak launch, a new boat launch, concrete sidewalks, parking, a patio area, as well as improvements to the existing bandstand. Our electrical team will also be running additional wiring and adding lighting.
The second project is spread across 5 sites. They include Hamilton Street, where our team is installing a sheet pile abutment structure, floating kayak dock and launch, stairs, a reattaining wall and car pull-off area. The Third Alarm Building and Harbor Master Site consist of upgrades to the existing parking areas and lighting, as well as concrete sidewalks and pavement striping. The Pickering Beach Site will include a paver walkway with a compass, as well as new landscaping. These four sites all include removable bollards. The final site on Ontario Street will receive a new limestone rock seawall.
Phase 1 of this project is expected to be completed this fall, with phase 2 expected to be completed in October 2024. Lawman is proud to use the many skills of our teams and expertise to continue making our local community here in the North Country a better place.
